Big Bags

Description

Big Bags are mainly used for the storage and transport of building materials (soil, sand, rubble, gravel, lime, etc.), timber, coal, but also food and agricultural products (rice, cereals, etc.).

The safety factor of our Big Bags is 5:1 and their strength is for 1000 kg minimum. For more information about the strength of each type and dimension please contact us. On request any combination of dimension, strength and type of Big Bag can be produced.

Big Bags come in many different types and dimensions, depending on the customer's need. The type of Big Bag is mainly determined by the shape of the top and bottom of the bag, and also by how many support points it has.

All Big Bags can be laminated (waterproof) on request.

Also upon request, all Big Bags can be equipped with Filler Cord, a special cord, which prevents materials that are in powder from escaping from the Big Bag.

Apart from the classic Big Bags, there are also ventilated Big Bags, also known as Air Bags, which have mesh strips along their length to ventilate the interior and the products contained inside. Air Bags are mainly used for the storage and transport of potatoes, wood and other products that need to be ventilated.

We can distinguish 2 main categories:

1. Four-point support Big Bags.

These are Big Bags which have 4 straps on the top of them, from which they are caught for transportation and positioning. It is the most common type of Big Bag and can combine all of the following top and bottom combinations.

The top of a Big Bag can be:

Open Top (OT).
Valve up (FS - Filling Sprout).
Duffel Top (DT).

Το κάτω μέρος ενός Big Bag μπορεί να είναι:

Εκτός των παραπάνω τύπων για το άνοιγμα των Big Bag υπάρχουν και πιο εξειδικευμένες λύσεις, κατόπιν παραγγελίας.

Τα Big Bags τεσσάρων σημείων στήριξης μπορούν να έχουν στο εσωτερικό τους και σακούλα πολυαιθυλενίου για να μπορεί να αποθηκευθούν και μεταφερθούν και υγρά προϊόντα ή προϊόντα σε σκόνη, όπως ασβέστης.
